The Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr. Sakuta Makoto

The Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr. Sakuta Makoto, accompanied by Mr. Sadamasa Oue, a distinguished Japanese diplomat and international policy expert who served as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, along with a delegation from Japan, paid a visit this afternoon to the ongoing project at the newly constructed Marine Police Headquarters.
They were joined by the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Godfra Hermitte, members of the Police Executive, and the Officer in Charge of the Marine Police Unit, Inspector Andrew Sinon.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the current status of the project and the expected completion timeline.
The foundation stone for the project was laid on 26th June 2025 marking the commencement of the construction.
