IPA SEYCHELLES

Mr. Vakil, Secretary of the IPA Mauritius, and Mr. Rakesh, an IPA Member from Mauritius both officers from the Mauritius Coast Guard delivered an informative session on oil spill response to officers of the Marine Police Unit, including IPA members, on the afternoon of 29th May 2026.
During the session, they shared valuable insights drawn from their professional experience and outlined best practices for effectively managing oil spill incidents. Their presentation provided practical guidance that will enhance the preparedness and response capabilities of the officers when dealing with such environmental emergencies.
