SEYCHELLES POLICE FORCE HOSTS HIV/AIDS AWARENESS ART COMPETITION – THREE WINNERS AWARDED

As part of the HIV/AIDS awareness activities held yesterday at the Seychelles Police Headquarters, the organisation hosted a vibrant Art Drawing Competition aimed at promoting creativity, awareness, and positive messaging around HIV/AIDS. The initiative formed part of the broader commemorations for World HIV & AIDS Day, highlighting the importance of education, understanding, and solidarity within the Police Force and the wider community.
The competition attracted impressive artwork from talented participants, each using their creativity to express the significance of awareness, prevention, and compassion in the fight against HIV/AIDS. After careful evaluation, three outstanding artists emerged as the top winners.
• First Place: Valerie Lesperance of the SIAD, whose artwork captured both the emotional and educational aspects of HIV/AIDS awareness with exceptional skill and originality.
• Second Place: Rianne Accouche, recognised for her strong artistic technique and powerful message promoting support and understanding.
• Third Place: Nikita Hoareau, whose creative expression and thoughtful interpretation earned her a well-deserved position among the top three.
All three winners were presented with their prizes during a small ceremony at the Headquarters. Their artworks, praised for their meaningful messages and visual impact, will soon be displayed across all police stations, allowing officers and members of the public to benefit from their inspiring contributions.
The Seychelles Police Force commends all participants for their enthusiasm and creativity. The Art Drawing Competition served not only as a platform for artistic talent but also as a powerful reminder of the importance of continuous awareness and education in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
